A little Paris...

Today I was reminiscing about my trip to Paris.  It was a huge thing for me to travel abroad.  While in Paris, I got to experience many things, like the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame.  I also saw several museums

At the Louvre, I found that I loved the sculptures.  This is Mercury and Psyche.  It is exquisite workmanship and lovely.

Adriaen de Vries

 The story goes something like this.  Cupid fell in love with a mortal that was gorgeous.  Of course there was jealousy from Venus and lots of other stuff happened.  In the end this woman Psyche, passed through several trials and was taken to Mount Olympus by Mercury, so Cupid and Psyche could be married.    This is a representation of that ascension into heaven.

Lets play a game....

 Ok.... Here are the rules.

Guess what country this flag belongs to.

 Did you post your answer?

Go do it!

Then guess who gets to go to this country!  (Is the suspense killing you?  Me too.)

So two guesses.  Submit your answers in the comments.  That is it  (super simple game...right?)

NEW YORK - GIRLS TRIP Mini Album 2008

Here is a little album I did of a girls trip I went on. It was a completely fabulous trip.  All of my sisters and mother were there.  (I have 5 sisters, plus me and my mom--basically built in party!)

We went to the restaurant Serendipity.  It is featured in the movie "One Fine Day".

We also saw a Broadway Show - Mary Poppins.

It was Practically Perfect in Every way.  This is a close up.  I used the map from a brochure in the album.  It was a fantastic way to show where we were in the city.

We saw street vendors;
we enjoyed beautiful buildings;
we went to central park;
we stayed in a posh hotel.

It was a fabulous, fast and furious adventure.
  We ran through the rain and the slick streets;
we sang in the subway;
we had a pregnant mommy to be;
we walked and walked and walked.

Absolutely want to do it again!
I hope you enjoy the album.

I sure enjoyed the trip.
Have you ever been to New York?
What was your favorite part?
